Hi, I’m Shelly, the founder of Brookstone Academy, a non-profit private school built around a simple yet powerful vision: to empower every child through individualized learning, compassionate support, and a sense of belonging. At Brookstone, we believe in nurturing each student’s unique strengths and helping them build the confidence to become the innovators, creators, and leaders of tomorrow.

Having experienced the struggles of being a bright but sensitive student myself, I understand how important it is to feel understood and supported in school. After earning my Master’s in Education and a rewarding career in education, I was inspired to create a school that breaks away from traditional methods and truly meets the needs of today’s students—those who think differently and thrive in an environment that encourages creativity, independent thought, and respectful debate.

Our approach combines the best educational theories and practices, grounded in 20 years of experience, to create a dynamic program that promotes intellectual and emotional growth.
